Vishwamangalya Sabha

Protectors of water, land, forests, and animals are known as ‘tribes’! Inspired by the saying, “The nation gives us everything, let’s learn to give something back,” the Department of Tribal Welfare has been established within the organizational structure to discuss how the awakening of motherhood can contribute to national duty at the Vishwa Mangalya Sabha.

There are over 100 million tribal people in India, with half of them being women. Keeping the development of these women in mind, the department has been set up to promote and carry forward the culture, traditions, customs, and values of the tribes.

Protecting Forests, Preserving Heritage:

In the tribal regions, it is a matter of pride that a matriarchal culture prevails. Observing their way of life, it is evident that the role of the ‘mother’ is crucial in family culture, social life, family life, and overall living. The tribal community of India has had an inseparable relationship with the country and Hinduism since the Vedic and Puranic times. Many sages and seers lived with their wives in ashrams, protecting, nurturing, and developing the surrounding areas. Numerous tribal women are also found to have given Vedic and Puranic teachings. This reflects their superior way of thinking, way of life, and cultural values.

Vision
The vision is to foster the creation and development of 'mothers' who nurture and empower through perspectives on the divine, country, religion, lineage, family, culture, values, and empowerment.
Aims
The department aims to develop tribal women, girls, or mothers in their health, education, political, and economic aspects without tampering with their cultural and family elements. Efforts are made to preserve their festivals, symbols, family philosophies, and beliefs by connecting them to the fundamental elements of Sanatan Dharma.

Journey and Outreach:

are entirely tribal. Out of the 330 villages in this area, 100 are currently connected, 50 are developing, and 5 are developed. During festivals and at other times, the Vishwa Mangalya Sabha conducts outreach campaigns in small villages.
